Hmm... end of April weather???

This morning we thought we saw snow...

Yes, we did, we did!!! (and mommy dug my winter jacket back out.)
It's perfect snow for creativity!!

Phew... the snow ball is just bit heavy.

Introducing our spring Snowman.

Weekend Misc.

Beautiful day to showcase my spring outfit. This is casual outdoor.
This is party formal.

Wasabi wishes for height.

We helped making dumplings this afternoon.

then we flied around as letter ghosts.

Grrr... If you mis-spell, we will haunt you...

We ended the day with nice bike ride (and I avoided a potential road kill.)

Novice photographer

Hi, I am embarking on a fun journey of photography.

I tried to capture daddy's crane stand,

and A-ma talking on the phone. But somthing did not seem right.

Mommy gave me a tip: point my camera just alittle higher.

Thanks, mommy, I got Timothy all smiles.

A very Good Friday

Our adventure begins in the Ottawa children's museum. A ticket is needed to proceed.

Here we are touring the streets of Asia.

A-ma goes shopping at the market.

In Switzerland, I help load the yummy cheese to ship to Canada.

Meanwhile, Wasabi helps out in Haiti with the rebuilding efforts.

We then meet up in Egypt to see the great pyramid.

and we discover THE Prince Wasabi inside.
Amazingly, Pushi`s blackberry works inside the pyramid.

We camp out for a few days in the dessert.

Wasabi charters a boat to take us to Japan.

Ha... green Wasabi.

We end our trip back in time to late 1800 Canada.

What a fun day we had. Beautiful Ottawa, we will be back.

Introducing Ginger

Hi, I am ginger, and I can't wait to meet my family.

Like my sister, I, too, like to suck my thumb.
See you all in August!!!

Nothing in life is free...

We had a fantastic "trial" class at Kidnasium.
We had some free play on the gymnastics equipment, then some stretching and skill building.

Sushi is improving in her balance.

It was Wasabi's first time in a class and he loved it!
Too bad the "trial class" cost $20 and if we signed up for the 12 week duration, it would cost $240. Didn't we drop-in then? Shouldn't a "trial class" be free?

Too expensive for our budget...no wonder they don't show any prices on their website.

On this cold beautiful Saturday morning, we went to a well known sugar shack. We weren't the only ones wanting some sugar on this fine morning.

We began the tour with a lesson on how the yummy syrup is extracted from a tree.
We then took a tour in the maple forest behind two real gassy horses.

What a wonderful morning so far as we got close to our furry friends in the petting zoo.

Then.... the perfect day stalled.
Daddy told me about a history lesson from the great depression that matched the food line we encountered.

Here is the meal ticket booth

and here is the hungry crowd... "We want food, we want food.." we chanted as we waited for two hours to collect our meal tickets to get food.
Finally!! and the food was worth the wait!!

TAFFY.... The painful memory of the wait has officially been erased !! We would come back again!!

Uncle Joe: "Yeah, we, Torontonians, would never put up with the wait."

Relax. Life is good. No need to rush.

Morning Tea

My sis and I sat down for morning tea together after a busy morning of screaming, running and messing up the house.
Let's see if this stuff is any good.

Ah...flavourful, refreshing, and relaxing!

Party with Uncle Jushi!

Uncle's here for the week on business and this coming weekend for pleasure.

We're so happy!

Uncle Jushi loves hanging out with us but he also loves his sleep and his blackberry.
