Introducing Ginger

Nothing in life is free...

We had a fantastic "trial" class at Kidnasium.

We had some free play on the gymnastics equipment, then some stretching and skill building.

Sushi is improving in her balance.

It was Wasabi's first time in a class and he loved it!

Too bad the "trial class" cost $20 and if we signed up for the 12 week duration, it would cost $240. Didn't we drop-in then? Shouldn't a "trial class" be free?

Too expensive for our budget...no wonder they don't show any prices on their website.

On this cold beautiful Saturday morning, we went to a well known sugar shack. We weren't the only ones wanting some sugar on this fine morning.

We began the tour with a lesson on how the yummy syrup is extracted from a tree.
We then took a tour in the maple forest behind two real gassy horses.

What a wonderful morning so far as we got close to our furry friends in the petting zoo.

Then.... the perfect day stalled.

Daddy told me about a history lesson from the great depression that matched the food line we encountered.

Here is the meal ticket booth




and here is the hungry crowd... "We want food, we want food.." we chanted as we waited for two hours to collect our meal tickets to get food.

Finally!! and the food was worth the wait!!

TAFFY.... The painful memory of the wait has officially been erased !! We would come back again!!

Uncle Joe: "Yeah, we, Torontonians, would never put up with the wait."

Relax. Life is good. No need to rush.

Morning Tea

My sis and I sat down for morning tea together after a busy morning of screaming, running and messing up the house.

Let's see if this stuff is any good.

Uncle's here for the week on business and this coming weekend for pleasure.

We're so happy!

Uncle Jushi loves hanging out with us but he also loves his sleep and his blackberry.

St.Patrick's Day

In celebration of St.Patrick's Day, I wore green to preschool today.

Did you know that St.Patrick was a Christian missionary?

The shamrock was said to be used by St.Patrick to explain the Holy Trinity to pre-Christian Irish.

How interesting!

Back to the Playground

The snow is gone and the weather is above 5 degrees. This is perfect weather for the playground.

Birthday present

Daddy birthday is coming up. I want to get him a real nice present. What about this sharp looking black two door Accord?


I think he would look real cool in this S2000.

or perhaps a bit more environmentaly friendly option of a Civic coupe.

Nah... he is not getting younger. This is more suited for him.

Sushi agrees.

Looks like daddy likes his present.

Spring is Here?

Spring has arrived in Vancouver but we're not so sure about here in Montreal...

We can still go out on bike rides but it's important to bundle up.
