It's a special time to get together and celebrate Taiwanese traditions.
First, we graciously receive some red pockets which will be put to good use.

Then, it's time for a feast! I get first dibs on this delicacy!

Here are our special guests, mommy's Uncle and cousin J. Food is always yummier in good company.

Pumpkin Cake!!

Welcome to the Sushi Cooking Channel. Today we are making a fresh pumpkin cake. After you've chopped, steamed and mashed the pumpkin, follow the recipie and mix mix mix...

then, mix mix mix some more. When you've had enough fun mixing, then pour it into a square pan.


While the cake is baking, it's time to do the dishes and clean up the mess I made.

..and after baking in the oven, yeah, the cake is ready. TV magic. Enjoy!!
