Remember, no city does festivals better than Montreal.

Here we go again, this winter festival was again, amazing!!! (despite -10 degree). There were tons of super friendly scary looking people.

We had a sleigh race. Wasabi beat out Sushi.

We took advantage of a sunny work day. We had the whole park to ourselves.

Mini vacation

This is how di di and I spend a mini vacation day. First, a nice night sleep in a heavenly bed.

Then we have our morning milk in coffee cups while watching hard working Ryerson students in classes.

Then we hit the mall.

We played Monkey in the box.

I dressed up as a little fairy

We enjoyed story time in a cup.

Who said we need to go far for vacation!!! Full day of fun without stepping outside into the cold.

Professional haircut

I enjoyed haircut.

It makes my head lighter and it makes me look refreshed.

A new family member

Uncle fly lice is a brand new dad. Home cook take out is for the parents and the balloons are for the baby.

Here is the brand new mom with her brand new baby.... my new cousin. In Chinese, I am her "Tung" sister.
while the main purpose was to meet our new cousin, we couldn't pass on opportunities to eat in Toronto!! Di di liked his rib dinner.

Back to baby cousin again!! Mommy looked so natural with the new born.

(whispering..) "mommy, can I trade in di di for a baby sister?"

A new week

Di di and I paid a big price for having too much fun in the snow. (see post below) We were sick for the whole week.


But, even being house-bound, we managed to find ways to entertain ourselves while battling the nasty bug.

Well, we shall get back out soon!!!!

Just another cold sunny saturday

Snow is actually very similar to sand... Our dump truck sees no difference.


Our sand bucket sees no difference.

The squirrels apparently see no difference... (assuming the tracks were theirs)

...and we see no difference!!! with proper gear, we can dive into snow just like sand. Can't waste a sunny day.

More snow fun

We have TONS of snow whether we like it or not. Why not enjoy it instead of complaining about it : )

Goodbye, 2009!!!

We were invited to a super goodbye party for year 2009 in Newmarket, ON. Tigger was there too!!

I can never miss a party with bouncy castles.
This time, I brought my sidekick. Can you find him?

We took a ride on a Tim Horton's choo choo train afterwards.

then on a two horse power carriage ride.

After the rides, we just can't resist to go back for one last jump!!

2009 has been a blessed year for our family. We are grateful to the Lord for family and friends. Happy new year to all!!!

Christmas feast

Uncle Fly Rice, auntie Salsa, and her whole family plus the snowman invited us over for Christmas dinner.

We started off with gift exchange,

and the big winner this year is Sushi with her new kitchen.

The dinner table is set followed by super yummy foods.
