Uncle fly rice

Uncle fly rice came to visit us. We get him to play the toys auntie salsa and him got us!!

Can you see from his eyes that we have effectively tired him out? and it's only 8pm.

Apple festival- di di perspective

"Hi, folks. Apples are a bit too hard for my 2 and 1/2 teeth. So this is how I enjoyed myself at the apple festival."
"First, I picked the littlest berries off the bushes and squeezed them until the gooey stuff came out. Daddy said it may be poisonous."
"then I headed over to check out some folk dancing put on by this fine crew."
"All that music and the drum beat got my legs all tingly... I gotta move it, can't fight the dancing urge!!"

"oh, oh, all the dancing got my bowel moving..."

"mm...., mmm... oh, have mercy..."


Time for a refill. What a fun and eventful day!

Apple Festival

We took advantage of the sunny autumn weather by going to the Apple festival at UBC.

We got to ride the vancouver tour trolley for FREE although it was only a 2 minute ride from the event parkade, which cost us 5 gold coins.
Cashew: "hmm... I wonder which choice is more child friendly?"
"Yeah, we picked the right one!!"
"We did some crafts."
"we got our face painted."
"..and we bobbed for apples!!"

"See, I got a good bite."

"Do you notice the shine on my teeth? Let me tell you how I got my BIG smile."

"First I got to sit in this real cool chair. It goes up and down and all the way around...."
" ...while I maintain my focus on visual education, the treehouse..."

"Aaaah... open my mouth nice and wide..."
"Wait wait, wait; EXCUSE ME, Just a second here, did we forget something?..."
"Ah, much better. These shades match the cool chair."

"..grrrhh...my teeth get a shower..grrrh.. my teeth get a massage...grrrrh..."

"Then my teeth get a bubble bath (called flouride?)..."

"Finally, the best part of all, I get to pick a present from this treasure shelf!! My first visit to the dentist was a blast. I can't wait for my next appointment!!!"

"YES YES YES, a Moon Sand Castle!! i love playing sand especially at home inside my comfy room."

(A loud thump. daddy just fainted at the thought of cleaning up.)

"I should have told him it's not that messy... according to the instructions. We will find out tomorrow!!!"

After the cake cutting ceremony, the party shifted to the River Mania festivities in Ladner village.
Everyone apparently had fun. Here is our lovely camera crew. capturing the proof of that.



Alpha and Bravo got their apparently chewable balloon animals.
Ah-Ma apparently found gold.
...and Gabby the clown is definitely scary.





OOOPS... what about di di? He slept through the whole birthday party.

After the party ended, the reality sets in for Sushi: "oh, I am getting older."

"It's okay", says daddy, "You are still young, and you have a bright future ahead of you."
