Village du Pere Noel

This is how we enjoyed Santa's village on a sunny labour day.

I conducted a train.

I jumped in a big empty bouncy bubble.

We learned French in an igloo.

We visited the Elves' head office.

We dipped our feet in an icy pool.

I climbed a tree house.

We conquered a castle.

I flew a big bird.

We fed Bambi.

Saw daddy stare down a Lama.

As always, A-ma rocked the village once again!!

Montreal day tour

We have visitors from the other side of the continent, and we were glad to be their tour guide for one day.

Having visitors meant more "POUTINE!!!"

Di di agreed

IT was a nice day with family enjoying the last weekend of summer.

School Days

"I got A-gong to take this GQ shot of me."
"Who cares if I'm wearing my pajamas?"

"Look, I'm so tall now, can I go to school to?"

"Meanwhile, Sushi is off to her first day of preschool."

"I'm looking forward to learning French and meeting some new friends. Au revoir for now!"

Super grandpa

" Can you draw something for me, A-Gong?"

"Wow, nice car, you are good at drawing, A-Gong."

"Can you catch me, A-Gong?"

"I love jumping off the coffee table!!! (an activity forbidden by daddy)"

"I love having A-Gong around to spoil me. Do you think I'm warm enough?"

"My big sister is pretending to be a mermaid... We can't believe autumn has arrived. Where did the summer go?"

Wasabi's fun weekend with family

Happy me = tired mommy

The antenna looks like a whale...

I drive with my feet.

Another arm of the family tree is growing...

Daddy and uncles, despite their ages, are still silly like me.

Uncle's Biodome house

Yeah... our uncle's house is like a petting biodome. Here is a baby bird in the rainforest ecosystem...

Here is a baby frog from the St.Lawrence river ecosystem...

Here is an aging dog from Madagascar...

and finally, here is a mummified ginger from the dinosaur age...

Time for a break. This is all the nutritious foods in uncle's fridge.

Super Sunday part one: The Biodome

La fete des Enfants continued on Sunday. We took advantage of these family friendly attractions which were free to the public.

In the rainforest, we saw some funny looking bird up close and personal. We were lucky not to be hit by any droppings.

Here was a crocky. I think he was sleeping with his mouth open.

The emperor penguins were my favourites.

In Madagascasgar, we saw the funny Lemur. Well, they weren't so funny here as they were in the movies.

Di di had a juice break. It's icy cold thanks to mommy's preparation.

This was our 3rd attempt in getting a group photo.

This is Wasabi, le garcon explorer. Let's go.

He liked tracing the animal footprints.

And he studied zoology....after he figured out the alphabet.

What a cute furry "dead" bunny rabbit.

After goofing around with the horns, we were ready to see a bug's life. Super Sunday part II, here we come...
