Happy Cashew Time

"I really really like it when my cousins visit!!!!"

"me too!! I don't mind playing with girls."

"We scoot around on our bums to clean grandma's new hardwood floor."

"We watched mei mei do her acrobatic moves."

"We celebrated daddy and A-Yee's upcoming birthdays. " (btw, daddy's wet spot is from bathing us and not from lactating."

Why does daddy look so upset after a fun day?.

Take a closer look!! Daddy needs a pair of new glasses. Courtesy of Wasabi's tempermental karate chop.

Papaya Milk

"Mommy taught me how to make a papaya milk. First, I put the papaya into the blender. Hmm... it's finger licking good. "
"Then I added an extraordinary amount of honey because I am sweet!!"
"Let the machine do it's work...grrrrh... very loud."

"Hmm... yummy."

"My very first happy guinea pig..hm, I mean my first very happy customer."

Groovin' with daddy

"Give peace a chance."
"Imagine."

Catch the Olympic Sprit

Winter Celebrations continued at the Richmond Oval this past weekend.
Elmo didn't seem as cute in real life...

Let the flame burn!

Wasabi marvels at the architecture of this building.

Gotta love the spirit!

Le Carnaval Comes to Richmond

Quebec's annual winter celebration was fun for everyone. Here we are with the "Bonhomme de Neige," himself!

Then it was time for some games. I'm supposed to stick my hand into that mushy mess and look for what?

I'm sure glad I'm not doing it!

100% maple syrup. This is good stuff!
After doing some crafts, watching a fire juggling show and listening to some French music, it was time to defrost our toes.
Trust me, this looks scarier than it feels.

Fun in Seattle

Playing with boxes is fun but...

...playing at Chuck E. Cheese is more fun!
Being trapped in this cage was not fun...
Go Cashew go! Jump, jump, jump!
Off-roading! Buckle up your seatbelts!

Whoa! Hold on tight!
Now this is a much safer way to travel. All aboard! Time to go home.

Girls Road trip

Mommy and I went to Seattle for some fun with the Cashew family.

Kid's Quest once again! Cashew and I try to uncover some fossils on these rocks with wet paintbrushes. Hmm...didn't work but it sure was fun.

Being a scientist can be hard work.

Okay, Mei-mei, get ready to catch this...I'm going to shoot a scarf through this air system.
Mei-mei is ready to make the catch!

Year of the Ox

It's a special time to get together and celebrate Taiwanese traditions.
First, we graciously receive some red pockets which will be put to good use.

Then, it's time for a feast! I get first dibs on this delicacy!

Here are our special guests, mommy's Uncle and cousin J. Food is always yummier in good company.

Looks like daddy approves of the food.

Thanks for a wonderful dinner A-Ma!

Pumpkin Cake!!

Welcome to the Sushi Cooking Channel. Today we are making a fresh pumpkin cake. After you've chopped, steamed and mashed the pumpkin, follow the recipie and mix mix mix...

then, mix mix mix some more. When you've had enough fun mixing, then pour it into a square pan.

While the cake is baking, it's time to do the dishes and clean up the mess I made.

..and after baking in the oven, yeah, the cake is ready. TV magic. Enjoy!!
