Children's Day Fun at Tsawassen Town Centre

Mom and I headed out for some fun. It wasn't the same without grandma (in Toronto) but we made the most of it.

First I made a fuzzy pencil top.
Then I got fingerprinted just in case my parents ever lose me...
Then it was time to show off my gymnastics skills...
...Ta da!
A marigold for me?

Thank you...thank you!

Mid-week Family Reunion Escape

Cashew family + Sushi family = FUN!
Two nights away...what have we gotten ourselves into!
Daddy was so disappointed that I couldn't go swimming after I skinned my knee.
Best buds.
Watching three kids is no problem for daddy!

Playing tennis sure tired everyone out!
Cheers to a great vacation!

Sidewalk paint and cherries!

What a delightful discovery it was - a cherry tree in our front yard!

I see it, but I just have to reach it...
Gotcha!

Teamwork at its best!
Sidewalk painting is fun. Hope daddy likes the designs I made!

On the Road Again...

It was a smooth 2 1/2 hour drive (5 minute border wait - yahoo!) to visit the Cashew family.
Reunited once again! Now I get to play with your toys...
I'm so scared!
Wasabi takes the big plunge!
Do I look like I'm having fun?
Is it nap time yet?

It's a Special Day!

On this special day, we started off by picking grandma's favourite fruit.

I think we did pretty well for an hour of picking. Then it was time for lunch, cake and a present for grandma!
The two Mrs.Shihs enjoy an afternoon date together under the big top.
Does this make me look younger or older?

...what a fun day! Can't wait to celebrate my birthday next year!

Eating and Swimming

"Let me demonstrate the art of chicken-foot eating. First, you lick the chicken toe."
"Then you chew and spit out the chicken knuckles."
"Then you go after the meat, skin and cartilage! Yummy! Good for my bones and joints."
"Thanks to my two A-ma's for this chicken foot experience. I learned from the masters."

"Yeah!! Mommy decided to get me a swimming pool in our backyard to cool off on a hot summer day."

"A-ma was never much of a swimmer. It's okay Ah-Ma, the water is only ankle deep."

"Row row row the boat, gently down our lawn..."
