Mall Fun!

...continued to walk around. Then Daddy insisted on going on the train ride so I went with him.

I went on a big carousel for the first time in my life!

Mommy tagged along...just for fun!

Sunny Day...

It was a lovely day on Friday so we bundled ourselves up and went for a walk! I started out walking with my friends in their cozy strollers...

...but then I realized that riding in a stroller is a lot less work....ahh..this is the life!

Back inside, I got acquainted with my guests. Here let me help you try on these mittens.

The Bakery is Open!

I'm baking an apple-oatmeal coffee cake for grandma!



I have all the ingredients out and ready to go...

It's very important to measure out the ingredients carefully...


Just buttering the pan so the sides don't stick!


That's one tablespoon of lemon juice...
After I've combined all the ingredients with the electric mixer, and spread it out in the pan, it's time to sprinkle on the topping.
Into the oven it goes for 40 minutes...
My first customer eagerly awaits my masterpiece!

Water Park Fun

The water park can be fun even without water. According to me, "the water is taking a nap".

Hold on Wasabi, we're going through the water tunnel.

Day of Sunshine

We made the most of the day of sunshine by first visiting the raptors and owls at the nearby Owl Rehabilitation Centre.

Grandma and I chose our favourites - the Snowy owls and the Great Gray owl.
Just around the corner we said hello to a few animals. Hello llama! (I stood a safe distance away to avoid getting spit on.)
Yohoo hens! Nope, don't have anything to feed you...
Bonjour Mr.Goat. No, sorry, I cannot help you escape.

Then off we went for a lovely stroll along the Boundary Bay Dyke. (We didn't get very far since I insisted on playing with rocks.)

Long Walks

Some days, you just gotta get out for some fresh air. Let's go for a walk!

What' s taking everyone so long?

Off we go!
Hey! Wait for me! My short legs could only take me so far. Grandma carried me for a while when I got tired.

But then...we had a better idea! I traded places with Wasabi!

Making a cupcake in 5 easy steps

Step 1: have someone else bake the cupcake

Step 2: have someone else spread the icing

Step 3: put some smarties on top with unique color coordination

Step 4: sprinkle some chocolatey stuff all over it...

Step 5: pack even more smarties and gummies on to the limited surface area. Add sugar sticks for some artistic touch.

Pumpkin Fest

This evening we joined the community for some fun in the village.
I met some new furry friends...
And a floating friend.
There sure were many other animals there just my size.

It was a productive evening as I collected a handful of candy for my parents!
