Just across the border...

We had a wonderful mini-vacation just across the border...
Fortunately the border wait was only half an hour.
After a short 15 minute drive, we reached our destination where we would spend the next forty hours relaxing!
Below is a picture of the most amazing Bocce ball playing area ever!
Grandma and I find some shade in this tent...too bad it's kinda hot in here! Whew!
Over here...you can do it daddy!

If only I had keys...then I could get somewhere with this thing...

After a little while, my lips started turning purple so I warmed up in this so-called hot tub the lifeguard made for me. How old do I have to be to go in the real thing?
Swimming is so fun! We're so proud of you grandma for facing your fear and joining us. You are so brave!

The weather and scenery were beautiful. We are so thankful for the time we spent together!

Thank you!

Thank you Uncle Ishi and Auntie Pau. Your presents were so thoughtful!
The shirt fits perfectly on me and I'm sure my future brother will look great in this preppy outfit. Swimming shorts...how wonderful!

Neato! Grandma returned from T.O. and brought back this stylish hat. I told her that it is "too big!"

See? Don't you agree?

After three days of high fever, I got this rash. The untreatable virus is making me very cranky but thankfully it should disappear on its own by the weekend.

My parents pray that God will heal me soon and that I will be back to my normal cheerful self again. (P.S. I looked happy in these pictures, but my mood changed in a matter of seconds...)

Cashew, get off that dinosaur!

This cannot be safe! Let's get outta here!

For Grandma, Love Sushi

"It's your birthday today grandma!"

"And I wanted to say thank you for feeding me and taking such good care of me."

"For all the washing and cleaning you do for me, I thank you!"

"You are a good example to me and I want to be just like you when I grow up! You love to laugh, smile and have fun!"

"Since you are not here, I gave your birthday hug to this nice chicken."

"I got this balloon for you Grandma. Happy birthday to you! Come home soon. I miss you!"

"Baby Pilate, 1,2,1,2 and breathe...it's all about the core muscles."

"Check out my wheels, Cashew, they pop!!"
"Here you try it too! Let's rap with the pop. pop pop pop ABCDEFG..."

"This car is eco friendly unlike the black monster beside it."

"I like the retro bikes. Do they have them in pink?"

The Adventures of Sushi and Cashew

While our parents weren't looking, we managed to sneak out of the house. Are you sure you know the way Sushi? I'm not sure this is such a good idea...
We better hold hands so we don't get lost.

Come on Sushi, don't be scared, it's perfectly safe. Let's go!

Climbing up the slide is actually way more fun!

When we got back home, look who was waiting for us! I wonder who's having more fun, me or Uncle Pushi?

Things look a lot different from way up here!

Summer vacation...School's out for mommy!

At the community centre today, we got our flags so we'll be ready to wave them on July 1.

Hey Cashew...aren't you American?

Time to practice some piano!

Hi everyone!
Cheese break!

You apply cream like this...and then...ta da! You'll have beautiful skin just like me!
P.S. I was just wearing my bathing suit for fun today. Maybe we'll go to the water park tomorrow!

I'm so happy daddy is finally home!
